Kehkashan Nursery was established in 1987 with a view to provide educational facilities to the children of armed forces personnel.
Through concerted effort of successive Commandants, The Punjab Regimental Centre Mardan and the member of the school faculty, the school rapidly grew in status and was rised to the level of a College in 1994 and renamed as Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Army College (Affiliated with BISE Federal).
In 2001 two separate wings, both for boys and girls respectively, were established due to the insistent demand of the parent of the locality to replace co-education system and instead introduce a system in which the boys and girls are separately groomed to become perfect individuals.
From 2005 onward the all army schools and colleges are working under the control of GHQ by the name as Army Public School and College System (APSACS).
